Ah, the Groupon trap. I love these. Saw a couple of big time winners on the carpet section get burned on this.

They were going to make millions, and pick up new custies at the same time etc etc. Fastest way to lose money.

In a couple of days, it will go really quiet, then in about a month, someone will ask how it went, a very long silence.

The problem with using Groupon as a sales tool is that the typical Groupon customer  tends to be a complete tight ar*e that wants and expects something for nothing. Not really the type of customer you would like to retain.

Correct.  Im waiting for a offer on carpet cleaning in my area.  Il take it. Average price 12 a carpet.  Sold to me the tight ass..haha. 30x 13= £390. Thats 2/3 gutters in my work...god help u

I've bought loads of this off richy. I've got family who all live in the postcode catchment. All live in 4 bed detached houses with big connives. Going to make sure the dogs have big dumps all round the place before he comes. I'm also going over to make sure I get my monies worth and I'm filling the gutters up with a clay substance that will be slightly damp so a nightmare to remove

I'm off out canvassing gutter cleans in Chester and Ellesmere Port tomorrow. 4 bed houses for £50 a go. Get Richy to do them all for £13.00 and i'll still make £37.00 per clean without lifting a finger. Everyone's a winner.

i thought id give it a go get the name out there to new areas its spring time hoepfully once this snow goes and i expect to pick up new work as were carrying them out il prob carry them out myself to be honest do 2-3 a day and then leaflet around them, its only a gutter clear not a gutter clean and the way i bring first cleans up i reckon we may be able to convert 50% over to regular customers

the amount of traffic it has generated to my website been really good so more emails to bank in the database for future advertising campaigns etc
