« on: March 21, 2013, 08:51:30 pm »
I found my visit this time a little disappointing.  Ionics under staffed waiting ages for advice ect.. xline poles guys given wrong price info although it was in black and white in front of us. No brodex.  Unger about the best there..

Still interesting day had by all. Will be ordering a  swift 45 from ionics after all. .

How was your visit. .

I went on Wednesday and thought it pretty quiet compared to others years, there were large unused areas presumably there weren't enough exhibitors but it was easy to walk around. I wonder what the overall attendance was for the 3 days.

Doubt I'll bother to go again, it was always better when there was lots of items for sale at show prices rather than just exhibitors.

The least you do is get ur pricing right. There's no mistakes at this level if there is it just shows ur rubbish at selling.  Prob rubbish after service to. Just my opinion sorry

When I changed vans and broke a fitting moving the system over, James at Xline opened the shop up on a Sunday morning so I could be ready for work on the Monday.
My experience of them is first class.
Nice to see you doing well James.

Um, probably rubbish after service to was your quote. Is that anything to do with the post in hand or just an assumption?

Did you queery the price given? Did you not point out that the price he had given you was in front of you yet he said different? Everyone makes mistakes an what's to say he wasn't mad busy with loads of figures running round his head.

Question re clamps. They look as though they are adjusted with an Allen key. Although Gardiners do require regular adjustment, it isn't a major pain because it's just a hand twist thing, with an Allen key, it becomes a nuisance as you have to have one in your pocket or go to the van to get one. It is a minor thing, but annoying.
