I have done payroll and sage training. I did it at a local training centre. They were very helpful and organised grants to pay half the fees.

I did a 2 day sage accountancy course in my old career. I was responsible for keeping track of all purchase orders and sales orders and for the quarterly Vat return.

I would actually recommend not going on a course and buying a self help book and working through it.

I personally don't think that sage is ideal for a Cleaning business but that is just my opinion.

The HMRC have got quite a few free workshops/courses for payroll type of issues,

I went on them a while ago and the wife has been on one within the last 12 months.
