WFP 😜
You need to spread the load by putting the ladder feet on a board
But you would need something attached to it to stop the ladder from sliding out
Thanks,

Use ladder spikes and then get a flat wood with holes drilled in to put the ladder spike through. The wood will prevent the ladder sinking into the lawn. You can also know a few nails through the plank to go into the lawn,  stoping the plank sliding on the lawn.

What I do is fold up a couple of microfibre cloths that are already dirty, put them under the Feet of your ladders, the ladders will still sink slightly, still securing the ladders but wont break the top layer of the grass therefore not causing any damage.

And it saves you having to carry any lengths of wood, I just put them through the loops on my pouches.

A short plank with an upright 2"x1" screwed along one side about a third in from the edge.  Upright stops the ladder slipping, plank supports the feet and the extra poking out behind the upright stops the plank tilting over.

Cheap enough to make.

I used to store one at each customer that was concerned about their lawn - under a hedge or somewhere convenient where it wasn't noticeable. Saved having to lug the same one around with me.

panorama,     i use backpack  been so for 10 months now 2 clx poles.  never looked back,    but i still like using ladders on easy rounds that can be done easy, are you still in your main work with the pole between your legs.   :D  i usually do new customers houses traditional   to make sure i get all dirt    and specs of paint    or any bits off   which you wouldnt see from the ground.   i then know there will be no problems when i wfp them
i think i just have a fetish for BIG ladders.     the bigger the better.     its a man thing.       the same as pressure washers and power tools,    ;D ;D   i better stop   im getting too excited.
my regards.
