I still use Aquadapter hose from push fit quick release to brush head - it's a superb fit but as a pole hose I couldn't coil it up to put it away and it wouldn't lay flat to work with - total nightmare. I gave a length to another window cleaner and said "coil that up" he couldn't do it either. How the rest work with it is beyond me. Maybe I'm too fussy.
I can't get on with Gardiners hose and don't like the Streamlite stuff because it won't go into push fits without a barb. The only hose I've settled on is Surecleans at the moment.

I've tried a few and to be honest I still have not found the perfect one for all year round use.
I couldn't get on with the Aquadaptor hose, Gardiners hose becomes really stiff in the cold and Sureclean Systems hose seems to be middle of the road.
So the Sureclean is what I use at the moment and although it does stiffen up slightly in the cold it is still useable.

Quite like my aquadapter hose, now my Brodex black pole hose is a Bloody nightmare, has a mind of its own, too thick to do anything with and in the cold it turns into a steel rod!!!....will be changing that one this week ;D

I use a back pack with gardeners yellow minibore hose straight to my clx. I see that guys using a van system use a heavier hose to the pole. Is that microbore ? And should I be using that to my pole then change to minibore for the actual pole ?

Brodex hose is great for connecting to hose reel from pump along with appropiate fitting .

For me it means I can lock my truck and arm alarm ensuring everything is secure when away from truck. Mike

Hi Tony

Generally you would not use Minibore for the actual pole itself as it will add to the weight of the pole in use.

I would recommend using 8mm OD yellow non-reinforced PVC pole hose for the pole itself then connecting to either Minibore or Microbore hose on the hose reel.

When will the pole hose be in stock please Alex ?

In the winter, using an immersion heater just for hose suppleness more than outweighs the cost of heating it up overnight.
It's a game of three halves!
