It is all I do to advertise, apart from people seeing van or websites, that is where my new work comes from (except the ones that are referrals)  ::)

Got many customers through FB page and now getting more support via Twitter & LinkedIn  ;)

http://www.facebook.com/StrakerEcoCarpetAndRugCare / https://twitter.com/StrakerEco ........ very easy to join them so one post lands on all 3 pages etc.

Whats the average age of customers from facebook.

Im 36 and been on it twice.  Personally I just dont get it.

Mark

PS. If I had friends in another country or just far away from my town then fair enough but other than that whats the point of it?

I can't get the hang of this facebook malarky. Customers who are friends are great, but i have been very disappointed with the quality of customer who has enquired on facebook, not the type i want tbh.

I'll keep at it though as i know a lot swear by it on here.

To pick up from deep cleans point, I think a lot of c/cers make a mistake with facebook, they get THEIR friends to like their page and try to sell to them and their friends.

Wrong audience, also other c/cers are the wrong audience, unless that's just to increase the likes.

What you need to do is get your customers to like your page so THEIR friends see it = correct audience.

Have I got that right Chris?

I think your right Craig. I was thinking, when you give them a free spotter you could angle at a like or better a share. The power of reciprocation.

Thats a good idea Rab.

I did have to make a second visit to job a while ago after a shrank her carpet (joke) she asked me if I wanted more money, I refused but in hindsight I should have said "If you want to thank me share my page.."

I do worry it might be hard for them to find the page though

I have to get onto that, I got a like button but it 'likes' the website not my facebook page.
