hot systems a waste of money?
« on: January 17, 2013, 05:16:00 pm »
It has been -2 -3 here in manchester this week and my cold wfp system has had no problems whatsoever.  any colder than this and i dont think anyone would be working, hot system or not.
if i can work in -3 temps with a cold system, then am i right in saying the only point in spending hundreds, if not thousands on a hot system is to make first cleans a bit quicker?!

Good question. After a bit of help a few weeks ago I am now able to work in -3 so I wondered the same as you.

Hi
Have you got no hot anything - immersion heater or filling up with hot water?
Didn't you have any problems with the poles freezing at -3?

I worked yesterday at minus 4, according to a customers outside thermometer,  with totally cold WFP and apart from ice forming in the Aquadapter and stopping the little spring working, I was able to carry on.

Have to admit I was surprised it was possible.

L5 of Steven Ainger.£50.00,if i get a year out of it i will be happy
even if i had to buy the next one from the states i would probably spend the £150.00 as an invest for the year you cant go wrong for that kind of money

My insurance knows, didn't cost anymore, they just have to be informed.
