Hi guys.

From the cc section but have wood flooring in
my kitchen and dining room.
Want to use my carpet cleaning rotary to give
it a good clean.
What sort of pad would be best for this and any
particular cleaning solution or would household
stuff do.
The rotary is a Victor Sprite 450.

Is the floor lacquered or oiled?

Not sure, it's quite smooth....

On Sunday I wet mopped it then rotary
on it with carpet cleaning pad on
then dry mopped it and it came up nice.
The problem I had was the pad kept coming
off.

Osmo Cleaner wax can be used under a Tan or Red Pad if the wood is grubby....leave to dry off then buff again with a Tan Pad....will try and put pic on of one I did recently.

Osmo cleaner wax is for Hardwax oiled floors.

Although it will work well be careful on a lacquered floor as it can make the floor slippery.

It contains oil to help feed the floor. Not so much of a problem in your own home but something to be aware of if working for a client.

A neutral pH detergent can be used to clean a lacquered floor. And anything from a bonnet to a blue pad also. Just be careful with the amount of moisture used so as not to distort the boards.

Think the bonnets I have will do.
Just seemed hard to control on the wood floor.
I have no problem with it on carpet.
After about 10 seconds bonnet started to come
away from drive board.
