night time canvassing

anyone canvass new work at night this time of year,what are the results compared to bright evenings

I've only ever put leaflets out but ive found that customers gained at this time of year turn out to be the best, compared to customers gained when the days are longer.

You will get plenty of good results, averaging 4 an hour canvassing main roads at the mo per person.

And working class arnt home during the day. So what if elderly dont answere, just crack on and knock the next house.

Who's canvassing Mick, yourself?

What do you say at the door? Do you carry anything that identifies you? Do you wear a work uniform?

Sorry for the grilling mate but then it comes to marketing is always nice to know how others do it. I'd made the decision to kick off canvassing again in March but your comments are teasing me to get going now, particularly as the weather is so nice.
