Hi, managed to pick up a rotowash R3 on ebay for £160, in great condition as well. Up until now i've used a multiwash so have no experience with the brushes on the rotowash. It currently has green ones on, could someone with a bit more info let me know the different colours and their use as an internet search has found jack all.
I'm thinking I will need to buy some black so could you also let me know a cheap place to get these.

Cheers, i'm guessing the brushes direct from rotowash will cost a stupid amount. Still can't find a link to a price or brush colour uses though.

Never heard of the green ones Neil (maybe they're a newer type?) , I know they do black (for carpets) and the slightly harder white (for hard floors) and if I remember rightly approx £150 a set. They last for ages tbh so think the price is actually quite reasonable.

Cheers Kev, they feel like a yard brush, quite stiff, they do look new as well. TBH they could be grey, although me and my partner both think they are green (what do I know though, i'm colour blind!). I've heard they do green one but I wouldn't know what for??

It appears that they do 4 brushes?

each getting stiffer by their fibre thickness.
Sometimes different countries do different things with consumables (look at Oreck), and I notice that the white one is the softest on this link (Australia), then the black
