Lawsuit waiting to happen over here but standard practice throughout europe, it's not safe or sensible to dodge health and safety regs.

Normal working practice doesn’t mean it's a safe working practice that's for sure.

At least it's a learning curve for some not to fall foul of working height regs etc as if anyone had fallen off that roof or through one of those skylights I dread to think what would have happed. Some firms have been reported to HSE by concerned passers by too and been taken to court and fined heavily for their unsafe working practises.

I know it's tempting to cut corners to remain compeditive on price and some think H&S is bullpoope but that is how bad things can happen and sadly do every year.

I admire you guys cleaning the commercial stuff. I don't have the confidence to price, and carry out cleaning.
I am happy just doing domestic, and it's good to get paid quickly  ;D

Don't you find that double lance a bit heavy after working a few hours ?

No the pressure keeps it up  ;D
I did try having a ball valve on the end of the hose but that got really heavy after awhile. These twin lances are great as you can adjust the pressure on the go, I'm going to put longer straight pipes on it and swap it to left handed then it should be perfect.
