It turns lead orange

How do you turn lead back to lead colour if it changes colour?
Ive had problems with hypo/acid staining the lead before and i think i read something on here about a chem that will change it back.

EDIT: hypo has only changed the colour of lead once for me.

Citric Acid will reverse the staining but you have to be quick, Ox would most probably do the same.
When I say quick I mean with-in 10 min of the stain happening.

Cheers roger. So, there is nothing out there that will rectify it if its already happened? Have problems when cleaning bricks. The acid stains the lead. Only option ive found is to paint it but never lasts long. Thought there might be something out there to take the acid tarnish off.

Unfortunately it does stain mate, we've all done it at some point, but you could do no worse then get some Net-Rol it's what we use to brighten decking, and is citric based, I don't know what size containers it comes in, (as in smaller sizes) as I buy the 15lt tubs, I think they might do a 1lt size though but not sure. Old stains are hard to shift as the hypo has had time to set/eat the face of the lead. If you are working with loads of lead, maybe mask/cover with polythene or similar ? prior to working.

Lee what nozzles are they for gum on tarmac?  It's a slow process on tarmac removing gum cos the heat can melt the tar if wrong nozzles used. It looks a great nozzle but slower cleaning time. Probably the only nozzle you could use on tarmac?

In the video is a 15055 at 100 bar. We've melted a few spots away on this school but they were aware beforehand. This tarmac in the video was the stronger parts of the school, other areas were ridiculously soft, as Lee Kenny found today blasting hole big enough for his to stand in.  8) ;D ;D ;D

I thought it was slate? I used ultra hd natural stone from sealers direct, very impressed with it and going to try there block paving sealer next.

The job looks really impressive. A real transformation!

We use impregnating sealers when we seal limestones and sandstones ...over time we think they last longer and course less problems than high solid sealers. If you are getting into sealers maybe it's something you should look at.
Just something we have picked upon after trying different products on different surfaces.

I might be wrong but that don't look like Slate to me, maybe Kevin Martin might correct me.
So you sealed a stone with only "thinking" it was a certain stone?
Just looked what you used, A surface sealer on what looks like a natural stone….
