Van sign writing
« on: January 03, 2013, 05:45:15 pm »
Lol went to see my sign writer to day to get the vans done. I told him i wanted to see what he could come up with. Any way gets a call this aftenoon to say come and have a look. It looks great on the computer, so i saidto him where did you get the ideas and the colours from. He said i went on the net to get some ideas off other carpet cleaners vans and then pulled out 3 print offs of vans he thought where eye catching.
1. Chis Strakers van
2. Roger Underhills vans Aka Kestral cleaning
3. A truck from the States

As soon as i saw the pics i started laughing and he said what you laughing at ;D.

I said number one is Chris Straker and 2 is Roger Underhill both who i know very well. He could not believe I knew them. WHAT A SMALL WORLD. ;D

Ha Ha, it is a small world. i went on PPH (people per hour) to get a price on a small website for rug cleaning and a guy from india answered my ad saying he'd done loads of carpet cleaning webstes and here are some examples, one of his examples was kev loomes website,  ;D. after i asked Kev and confronted the indian guy he was (how can i put it) more than apologetic to say the least. ;D

very small world.

Paul, I was very happy with my layout and that was designed by Luca @ www.bossdog.co.uk ........ whole thing only cost me £250. Even had Goron bring his 3 vans up to Surrey, from Cornwall, as it saved him money even after fuel  :o

Glad a professional agrees on the 'eye catching' design  ;D

Another BossDog one, as well .......... it is on the Gallery page but Luca could not add picture of mine as the black was too shiny for photo to come out properly without reflections :o

david with two vans i am assuming dry fusion works for you. whats your secret ?, i use my dry fusion a lot but i still cant get enough work to keep me flat out.

did you get the vans done locally ? , mine is going in to get the existing signwriting removed next month and some of the paintwork touched up and i would like something done similar to yours. any chance you could send me the images to show my local signwtiter ?.

Does anyone know of any good sign writing companies that cover Manchester/Lancs? Can someone also give me some advice on vinyl wrapping compared to just normal sign writing/livery for vans. Whats the pros and cons? Cheers.

Hi creighton

I've used dry fusion now for 13 years. We do plenty marketing through magazines, radio, yell etc etc. we are very busy with the business . We are puting another van on road in march, probably another small Nissan, very happy with it. The vans are partially wrapped and vinyl writing. This was done near Edinburgh .

Regards

David
