Has anyone tried recently to purchase stuff from accessoryplanet.co ? Tried to order a vac motor, but the pump/vacs section appears to be blanc

I found on ebay genuine Lamb Ametek 3 stage motors for £82 + £40 ish postage.

Only wonder how they can afford selling them at this price as we all know they are considerably more expensive

My theory ....

Motors are relatively inexpensive to manufacture , a few dollars i'd say ...
There is no ' Lamb ' anymore  .... the name is only kept on for marketing  purposes

The American ' Lamb Ametek ' is made in the Mexican Ametek plant using Chinese parts imported through the US .

The european Ametek plants are producing a similar product ...  the tangentials are often sold on ebay as Ametek premium for the same price as the USA product  ( about £70 .
Some believe the American product is superior quality  , I think its ludicrous to believe that Ametek would not have a uniform QC system through all plants  ,  also Ametek would not be producing an inferior product right on the doorstep of main rival Domel  , based in Slovenia .
