Lol, love the responce to that, when I started cleaning in '73 it was either sculptured lowpile or shag pile, pad cleaning did a great job and yes much of what was around at the time was rotary shampoo, hwe we just starting to take ahold back then.

 HWE seems in the shaggy case, to be the favoured option - I think i'll stick to what I know!! by the way have any of you heard of the "truck mount sytem" if so is it any good or is the porty still king??
