A bit of a 'do' in the Midlands?
«

Hi gang
I reckon that its about time we had a meeting of like minds in the Midlands.
We keep hearing about the sunny days out in Preston or Watford... all at the other ends of the earth as far as us Midlanders are concerned.
Do you reckon we could either twist the arm or sweet talk Mr Mike Boxall into hosting a Midland affair perhaps sometime in May this year?
Seems like a good idea to me!
Regards
Derek

Absolutely...It's about time something happened in the midlands for a change...I've never been to a "Sunny Day Out"....I would if we had one centrally.

Sounds good to me!
Lets get an idea on numbers and we'll sort a venue, hopefully being central we can attract a good number.
What does everyone think about a general Cleanitup get-together?
(you do all realise that we don't get much sun round here don't you!!!)

Hi Mike
Thanks for responding to my 'gentle persuasion' (no arm twisting required) and as I suggested the idea I suppose I had better commit to turning up... I hope that doesn't put too many people off.
Kind regards
Derek

What do you mean nothing in the Midlands!!
NCCA Exhibition every year Midlands
NEC Exhibition every 2 years Midllands
Franklins day out 2 years ago Midlands
Seriously though its probably the best place to hold most events, Preston & Burgess Hill are nowhere near me or any of us in the South East.

Hi Phil
Just to brighten up your day a little....The NCCA Exhibition this year is going to be in London!
It is being planned at this very moment and will be at ExCel in Docklands.
The Midlands 'do'... to all those folk who consider themselves out of the area.....come on down/up and enjoy the delights of this great part of the Country

At the last Sunny Day Out we had people travel all the way from -
Ireland
Southampton
Scotland
Cornwall
South Wales.
as well as Birmingham, Midlands, Yorkshire etc etc
Motorways shrink this small country down.
