Over tightened waste tap into champ housing! It has snapped off in it, so thread is still in there!! Any ideas on how to get it out without messing up the thread on the housing?

you can buy a set of them from screwfix if you need it quicker

have you got a pair of long nosed pliers,if so insert into the thread open them so they squeeze the sides and keeping the pressure on start to twist and hopefully it will unlock

or small hacksaw blade and cut a slot or two in to the snapped piece an fold it in on its self

Stud extractors are tapered and come in different sizes, basically use the biggest one that'll fit in the hole. Oh and don't forget to turn anticlockwise

Put some penetrating oil before you try to remove even better spray Pft(I think its in the right order.)
