God it's very quiet out there

If it wasn't for my regular customers ,it would be dead,  :'(last couple years blamed weather, can't this year,
Their is a guy selling his Alltec machine and people carrier, for £1700' on eBay
How it going round your neck of the woods , also noticed that it the older generation that's getting the cleaning done, hardly any younger generation,..?????

Sorry to learn you're having a quiet time. Booked right upto 15 Dec with a few booked for the New year also. Thought last year was busy but, after a quite week early Nov it's gone mad. Funny how it can vary so much.

Have you not got any flyers you can get out with an Xmas offer on? Booked up right until I go away on 16th now, six days a week and even Monday evening next week.

I've got one booked in on the 23rd December at 7.30 I'm hoping to have finished on that day, I have spaces for the previous week but tbh I've got my big week next week I should end up the size of a sumo wrestler with all the cake ill be eating.

Roll on January and the taxman!

My tax assessment dropped through the door this morning.
Nice to know that the money is all there ready & waiting for him next month. He won't get it until the last possible day though.

Wouldn't worry about the tax man, the end of the world is due on Dec 21st so there won't be any tax to pay ;D

Tried that with my accountant but she wasn't having any of it :(

I finish on the 21st dec and go back to work on 7th jan, I like a nice long Xmas break, as for working 23rd in the evening...you money grabbing bstd

ive been going backwards for a few years now & have decided to come out fighting...perhaps i shall wait till the new year now!!!
recently lost my biggest commercial client to a national company as head office wants to lay office there accounting staff and i'm now forced back into the private home carpet cleaning arena where the competition is strong...
my polaris 1200 & windsor admiral will think ive abandoned them as they are lousy at house carpet cleaning...

I had the opposite a day or so ago.

I had a late night on Friday and thought "lovely, a day off tomorrow. I can have a lie in"

Ten o'clock Saturday morning there's a knock at my door. It's a customer... saying "are you doing my job today or what? You've never been this late before"

I had looked at the wrong week in the diary and completely missed a job of a suite and five carpets that was booked in for Saturday morning!

It's the first time I've had customers literally chasing me for work.

Last year was quieter.

This year is busier. Phones good today and for the last few days. Should have a good Christmas.

Hopefully I'll be able to finish on the 21st!
