And they folded because?
They closed an aspect of their company which wasn't making any money, as anyone would do. I dont want this to turn into an opportunity to run them down again, cos like all of us if a business goes under, people still have to feed their families and pay mortgages etc. So i wish them well and personally I have have good service from them.
Aye,and the creditors will have family to feed as well.I hope you wish them well too :-\

Referring to golds post , actually you are wrong  IF you paid by credit card you have up to 6 years to make a claim, your claim is against the credit card provider , this is why you should always buy goods using a credit card. This is section 75 of the credit card act

I'm with you chez, I have had very good service from them over the past 18 months, and before anyone says it I don't work for them the journey from Kent is too far  ;D. I personally hope that they are not in trouble as I like many others have a machine and warranty from them. Happy Christmas  ;D ;D

What I fail to understand is, why, if they simply want to close down one particular branch of business, is that branch in liquidation ?
Generally, to cut back, you simply alert your existing customer base and then stop trading....

Hey. yes I understand what you mean. All I was told was that they don't only deal with water purification so they just closed that part but are not ceasing in trading for their purification/poles side. Now I did say I didn't work for them………... ::)

Cheers Duncan,  and Panorama I agree more wfp companies the more competition which may keep prices down!!
Wish it would stop raining!!!!
