The way I see things going on here it looks to me that sometime in the future anyone who hasn't done a health and safety course will be black listed as breaking the law.
Anyone else see this coming?
Actually, you say this like it's a bad thing. Just think of all those window cleaners who are too set in their ways or to daft to attend a course. Of course, little old Mrs Smith from No 73 will still have her windows cleaned by her elderly window cleaner and his oily rag, but businesses may become even more health and safety aware.
I'm only small cheese, but I have got a few nice jobs purely on the basis of having a WFP system and being able to cobble together a risk assessment and method statement and provide proof of insurance.
So, if you're prepared to change, this would be excellent.
However, I can't see it happening, and I have my tin foil hat anyways.
