Carpet Cleaning Wand Marks

How do you remove them from a carpet if the customer rings you the following day to say they dont like them and of course the carpet is already dry.

I would first start with a good vac if you have a decent vac that should make them a lot better if that doesn't work then you will have to clean it again if you use to much chemical or don't rinse that carpet propperly you might have a problem, you should reset the pile after cleaning and not leave wonder marks in the carpet really  ???

you'll need to go round wet the carpet (mist it with water from your sprayer) and brush it in one direction.

shouldn't take long. best to groom wool carpets after cleaning.

do you have a pile brush?

Wont wand marks disappear during everyday use? They did on mine when I cleaned it last week.

I always ask the customer if they want them left in or not.90% say leave them in.

They'll disappear on the traffic areas as everything get's flattened down, but that doesn't solve the no traffic areas.
Best practice for the best finish is to pile brush whilst still damp, it speeds up drying, puts some memory back into the carpet and looks better than a backgammon board.

Ok Ok i know you should brush out the wand marks at the end and i normally do. On this occasion i did brush the lounge and dinning room but totally forgot about the top landing. I am not asking for the re training lesson. I am however asking for help or tips from the vast knowledge base that exists on this forum on the best way to rectify my mistake.

You could always go over in with a buffer and a pad..Or as some other posts have said just use the groom.

No but you just get swirl marks instead!  Even worse!  You should always brush those out as they can set the pile like that.
