Ethical or Living wage is £8:30 per hour in London, and £7:20 per hour outside London.

Good people are hard to find and we always say if you can afford it price them out of another job!
That guy is obviously well worth it, good on him and lucky you having someone like that as an employee!
Oooooo that is shiny!!

sorry i meant i paid myself %50 of what i turn over the rest goes back into savings / business .
so for example today 3 hrs work £110 i will put £55 back into the business and £55 to myself .

other days on average £30 an hr so whatever i make that day %50 goes into business the other goes to me lol .

The bloke I pay £15 earns around £250 a day from 8.30 - 4.00 with half hour lunch which he doesn't get paid for. So he gets £105 a day and earns me around £145 a day on average so I think that's fair.

A mate of mine pays 45% of whatever the employee earns which in actual fact is only 22.5% of the total earnings

im thinking of paying a third , i dont fancy paying by the hour because he can just coast along all day , and still get paid , so if he earns 200 he gets 66 and i get 134 i would be well happy with that , i dont think i could ever pay the minimum wage though , just doesnt seem fair
the more flyers i post , the luckier i seem to get ...

When people say 50% is far too great a percentage because of lack of profit. It all depends on the total take for the day/week /month. If you had someone consistantly knocking out £400 a day for you, I'm sure you could run a profitable business and keep one very happy bunny employee.

Not saying that i'm running to these %'s but you get my drift.
