« on: October 27, 2012, 05:25:03 pm »
I live in the south and this is my pricing for every month

2 bed house 12.00
3 bed house 14.00
4 bed house 16.00

Add 2.00 if they have a conny
Prob the same for bungalows too

Andy remember i am 4 weekly your prices are for 8 weekly. And £2.00 for a conny is cheap and that is for a normal conny that takes 5 mins to do. The problem i have round here is there are a lot of tradders charging £6.00 for a 3 bed house.

Do your customers mind them being cleaned every 8 weeks at those prices? i was thinking of doing the same changing to either 6 weekly cleans or 8 weekly and charging more for them.

More per clean obv would need more customers per month or year but on very good rates.
Dave.

Covering that area you have to charge more to cover the travelling time.

I think you are too cheap.

I charge much more than you, but as an average your charging about right to hit a good hourly rate.

All my prices are in multiples of £5 with a minimum £10 and have been for the last 20+ years. Minimum add on for a conservatory is £5.

or perhaps they only need to clean 3 days a week and have a life outside of window cleaning ?

work smarter not harder as the old BT ad's used to say.....

On coniesy I still charge £1 a window pane. So for me 3 quid will be to cheap.I am also in the south.I got flats with 3 big window and still get £11.50 minimum price and the same for 6 window front and sliding doors.

From the outset when I setup I purposely offered 8 weekly as standard as I felt I would be able to charge more...

There was obviously more legwork involved, but worth it in the end I think.
