Pump busts

My transfer pump when mad today fill my tank yesterday. Left it in the static tanks and checked today water was 123 degrees hot, pump burst and heated up the water than must tripped the plug fuse. I have never heard of this happen before.

I found out what happened today. I| filled the van tank and the float switch went off and I never switched off on the wall. When the auto filler came on a filled the tank and the float switch on and the flat hose was folded up and the pump overheated and bust open in the water. The pump must of been hot to heat the water to boiling point. Lesson learned. Got a new pump today.
