Not really a biggie Alex, you of all people should know about pole issues, production, etc. We can get it sorted out for you. We've had a massive demand and distributors are excited, official launch soon, everything addressed and ready.

So are all the ones sold so far pre-production models?  If its just a case of not having a logo then I'm sure no-one will mind.

Warehouse have been contacting the ones we think received pro prods - you got yours through a distributor so it makes it a little difficult. Demand is huge, so trying to get it all spot on has been tricky. Everything from this point on though, logo aside, is ready to roll.

This whole Phoenix launch seems to be a bit rushed and not planned properly, which is a shame really, as it has been a few weeks since it was "launched", and specs haven't been finalised still it seems as the range is limited to say the least, and with per-production models being sent out, all seems a little poor to me.

Not meant as a negative feedback, just constructive.

I know if I buy a pole from Gardiners, there is a range of spares on the shelf ready to go, and all models will have been tested out in the field prior to launch.

You can see some of the issues he had to address, but it is all about constant development, nothing is ever 'finished'. We (and Alex) are striving to create excellent products that are world class and people love to use. There is a lot more to come.

Surely you promoted your product on Vanfest to get a buzz into the market place for your offering. Surely you would have expected to generate a bit of excitement - sounds like marketing hogwash to me.

Rushing to get product out there ahead of plan always seems to backfire.

Getting the pole to vanfest was more to see what window cleaners thought of it in the flesh. We knew a hardcore group would be there and valued their opinion.

We didn't know lee was going to make his video. That is where the buzz started online. So little unfair to call it marketing hogwash.

But you are correct. Never good to rush to get it out there, lesson learned!

I had a look at the pheonix pole at polarbrite today, unfortunately they only had the hybrid there and no carbon fibre, but just having a quick go the clamps seem really good, the pole slides in and our really nicely, but the clamps are also extremely positive, they are definetly a step forward.

I would like to have seen the carbon fibre 26 UL as I am interested to see what it is like extended with the extra reach section left in to see wether it has much impact on the top of the pole with aded weight.

But first impressions are good.
