Powerflight 1350 Pump Gone

The pump on my powerflight went today when i turn it on all you hear is a slight humming noise anybody any ideas cheers Darren.

Have you checked for airlocks ?
If not It will need new seals probabely. Not an expensive job.

Its nothing to do with airlocks think its knackered its nearly 4 years old iam hoping its just the pumphead and iam going to get one of ebay if i have to replace the whole pump its going to cost nearly £800 from Amtech or CSUK ouch.

£800, you can buy the complete pump on ebay for £400, whats the other £400 for?

Darren, email me and I'll put you in touch with a bit of an expert.

He does come on here and Cleantalk and has sorted my machine a couple of times. Not sure but the pump on yours is probably a Pumptec. He fixed my pump earlier this year and that's a Pumptec 600psi so worth a call.

Pump Motor £384+vat Pump Head £224+vat the complete pump on ebay at £400 ive been told the pump motor isnt powerfull enough to run the 500psi pump thats why its so cheap emailed the seller waiting for a reply already bought  lots of gear of him.

Pumptec 500psi is £325 or pump head is £195 on ebay

Fran84 i no the pump your talking about like i said i was told the pump motor isnt powerfull enough the motor has to be 1/2 HP

Thanks Ian ive been meaning to get the pump serviced Amtech wanted £300 +carrige i thought i would be better just buying a new pump head the machine has been hammered for 4 years so was expecting to pay a few quid to get it sorted.
