In Stoke, window cleaning and drinking seem to go hand in hand.

To be fair Dean.... Drinking is a must in Stoke..

To take you mind off the fact that................ You are in Stoke

just letting anyone who was interested what the courts sentence was for me:

i plead guilty

i got a 29 month ban...can re-apply for my licence after 24 months if i pass blood test for alcohol abuse

12 month community order which basically means iv got to go speak to somebody once a week for an hour or so...think this will become once every 2 weeks then every month from wot i can gather

drink driving awarness course

£400 to fix the wall i knocked down

£85 costs not sure if that was court costs or vehicle recovery costs.

Yeah, this could be the biggest lesson you ever get.

some people in a strange way are not lucky enough to get these lessons in life! Some people never hit rock bottom, so they dont get a chance like you have to become the person they want to be and should be!

All the best hope you can keep on shining some how?

Regards

George

I'm on your side mate, I have absolutly no time for anyone who drinks and then gets behind the wheel and drives.

I wonder why the OP neglected to say that the only reason he got caught for D&D was because he was that ped that he crashed into a wall. I bet he would still be doing it if he hadn't been caught.

where do you stand on drivers who use drugs, both illegal and prescription, what about the ones who phone or text while driving, what about the ones who read a book or papers while they drive and don't forget all the ones who speed or do other stupid things that for 99% of the time they get away without leaving death behind them.

If you want a 5 minimum term inside for drink drivers who could kill but haven't, then all of the above should also go to jail for 5 years as well as all the other drivers who make mistakes that could go wrong and leave someones love one dead.

Can I ask a question, when totally bladdered, are you in your right mind?

forget that though, he was caught and dealt with by a court and rightly so banned, so let him deal with that and offer a bit of advice on how to keep going work wise.

and if he does the courses offered hopefully he will not re offend,

he is no hero and saying well done is a bit much, but f ecks sake we all f eck up and need a wake up call sometimes, and hopefully he will learn and move on and improve his life

been there done that and never again, I learnt and moved forward and never done it again, no reason why the OP can't do the same
