Apparently the 26' is actually a 22' with an extension not designed for everyday use.

When is the proper 26' being released?

Im gonna wait and see what people think before I part with any cash.

I got a feeling the carbon will wear quickly with those clamps if your using the braking on it.

The 26 is an actual 26ft extended pole (+reach). The idea is to only extend it when needed and use the section below as the starting point for most everyday work. This adds superb balance to the pole in everyday use as most window cleaners only need a 26ft pole a small amount of time. The weight is greatly reduced and it gives you unbelievable reduced closed length enabling the user to clean in the most awkward situations with ease and reach higher all in one pole.

so is it the top or bottom section that youdont extend?

if its the top section, surly it would make the pole feel alot heavier theoretically you would be extending 2 sections which would add extra weight and make it fell heavy?

will there be a proper 26' pole being released? The email i got from mike said that the extension isnt intended for everyday use.

No not at all. Hence the term 'ultralite' it's a different way of doing things which works incredibly well. You treat the top section as a gooseneck for all intents, then, when you need it, extend. You have to see/use it to appreicate how well it works. No doubt a lot of reviews will be coming shortly to give you first hand (unbiased) info!

Ok thanks for the info. Is there going to be a 26' pole with the extension making it a 30' pole then?
