What size pole do you use now ??
Make your judgement accordingly.

22 is short when closed - 25 is quite a bit longer.

Have to decide whether you want to use it for everything or just the higher stuff.

Imo, it doesnt work like that.
Why use a longer pole than needed, extra weight and longer closed lenght plus all the extra pole hose trailling behind.

been using poles for twelve years now I don't mind the long pipe cause you don't have to move trolley as much

go for the biggest you can afford and then take off one or two sections, place in the van,use the remainder of the pole as your every day pole and if needed you have the other sections to tackle larger jobs
i have the slx 35 and have removed two sections and because of the push fit connections takes seconds to add the other sections

why are you undecided as to whether to get a 22 or 25 slx then ?
sounds like you need a 30  ???
35 or a supermax 40 would give you even more scope for future work.
btw I have a supermax 40 and a clx 27 and thats all, and tbh despite what others may say on here it covers all my work and aint that heavy e.g today I've cleaned blocks of flats  for 8 hours straight and only resorted to the clx towards the end for ground floors. On less exhausting days I use the 40 on pretty much everything ( I need that length because daily work is that varied ) 4th floor down to ground level, its not heavy !

Everybody goes on about slx poles how good they are so i fancy getting one but im worried if i get the 22 that i may have needed the 25 just to get that little bit extra reach but if i get the 25 then wished i had got the 22 cause its lighter god its doing my head in lol

sorry just re read your earlier post the brodex is a 30 ft "reach" hence the 22 or 25 ft slx dilemma .
just get the 25ft and be done, you've 12 years experience , you must remember how heavy poles used to be, dont know the weight difference between the two but its not gonna be much and the extra 3 ft benefit will outweigh whatever it is anyhow.
