Believe it or not the water board in your area own every drop of water within their boundary, so you are supposed to have permission from them to extract water from any lakes, rivers or streams.

Sadly he's right.
The water companies rival God in ownership rights.
Technically you need a water extraction licence unless it's less than x amount and for non-business use.
We've just been through this with our well and had to get it tested and certified.

Crazy is right

Window cleaners have very low overheads, no business rent or rates, very little advertising, and yes i am on a business water rate, and its less than 800 a year , so £15 a week, and just think where we would be if we did not have the water company.
Get a life, its a very cheap overhead
