Cheers dave,

Appreciate that but I prefer to pay as free advice is nice but not when it costs you money to produce .

Can you email me: images121@live.co.uk

Thanks again

I have no idea what the going rate is, but I'd be happy to pay £20 per  1000l if I was  desperate.
I can remember when waking up stiff in the morning was a good thing.

Just buy a large DI vessel and some resin and make your own. You don't need a RO its just cheaper in the long run. It will possibly cost you a fiver a day to make it this way but who ever is selling it to you is going to charge at least a fiver (plus fuel to drive there).

Then when you get a RO you can incorporate your DI vessel into the system so it won't be wasted

Except that he had to read it to find out what it was about because the title was so daft.  Put a sensible title and people can choose whether to read before they open it.

Cue flame war.

Thats exactly why you put a cryptic title so people have to read it !

RO's are very wasteful
Collect your rainwater (Heaven knows we get enough of it!) pump it through a dirt filter(wire gauze) put it through 2 5micro filters, DI Resin and store in 1000lt tank under cover
I always have 2000lts of collected water(filtered through a pond filter system)
and 1000lts of pure at any one time.

Its free, it's cheaper, it’s better for the environment.
All RO’s waste between 30 -60 of water passing through them, it’s disgusting and should be banned.
Water is getting more and more scarce, each and every one of the WFP window cleaners on this site should be made to “Rain-Water Harvest by LAW.

All too often we hear of “Water Shortages” here and there!
And it’s not being helped by RO use! >:(

Yes sorry for that it would appear that I contradicted myself!
Yes there is plenty of water... The resent flooding in several places, proves that!
But...
The mismanagement of our natural water resources is causing us all problems.

Hosepipe bans!
Leaking pipes that have an ongoing 20 year fixing plan. (agreed by greedy investors)
Supposed lack of rainfall.
The lack of cooperation between water companies, refusing to “share” “their” water with one another.
All add to the problem.

It this continues, you will notice the change in peoples attitude to window cleaning with, what the general public would call a “Fancy Hose Pipe”
add to that, if they find out how much you "Flush" down the drain... :o
