Recommend a Training course for Starter
« on: July 20, 2012, 10:37:52 am »
Hello I am thinking of starting a carpet cleaning business and  oven cleaning when I finish my present temp  job in September.
I read the forum looking for tips on cleaning and marketing and I do have Experience having been a regional manager for a cleaning firm.
I have had very little carpet cleaning experience a a little bonnet mopping and using a home rug doctor.
What i would like to know is what carpet cleaning course would you suggest I go on before Im let loose on a customers carpets.
I would appreciate your comments
Thank you Dave :)

i have had first hand experience with cleansmart, altec, and the ncca all are of similar content though you will find the first two mentioned a lot cheaper than the ncca.

if you buy a machine from one of the first two suppliers mentioned you will get the training free as i think is the case with other suppliers though cleansmart and altec are the only suppliers i have experience with and both are very good.

David

The other obvious thing to do is try and find another cc who lives/works say about 20 miles from you and see if you can go out with them for a few days. That will put the theory you learn on a training course into practise.
