Hi Colin,

When bought from our website you can select "Quick-Release Clamp" for Pole Connection.

It's then supplied with one of these http://www.aqua-dapter.co.uk/accessories/quick-release-pole-adapter-end-screw/ to enable you to clamp it in to the pole.

On the type of the Aqua-dapter you'll need a standard plastic Angle Cranks, a FlipFast, or a "Type 2" Resi-Neck.

Hope this helps, but let me know if you have any other questions.

I can be.  The Type 2 is the Screw on type, it has a female screw thread rather than just a shaft to clamp into the top of the pole.

Left the office now, but I can access website on my phone if you need to chat.

It's the hose - we always supply a length of hose in the price for this reason, it needs to be strong enough to stay in the push-fit and low strength as it's pulled so many times a day.

For a 27' pole you'll need an 8m coil (26' 3") and then add 1m extra hose to your order and put in the notes "to be supplied as one 9m length" (or similar).

The red is recommended for hot systems, and we would also recommend for longer poles as it's a little stiffer and lower stretch.

You can use the orange for hot, but it's a good idea to use a tube strengthener then do that it doesn't soften and collapse in the push-fit.

I'll email you this evening or in the morning.

hi colin my SLX is the older version without quick release clamp.so i ordered a carbon gooseneck adaptor from aqua-daptor so i can swap my carbon goosenecks (depending on the job)as well as keeping my aqua-daptor on the end of my pole.works well! ;) ;D ;D

so i have a choice of 2 carbon goosenecks(both with sill brushes on the end(soft and medium bristle))and a medium standard supalite on a normal angle adaptor with quick release alloy end.all interchangeable in seconds.

on my 40FT SUPERMAX i also have a carbon gooseneck(with a extreme medium brush on the end)which i leave on.i use a pole tap on this pole.

best wishes
