Thanks to everyone who contributed ideas for the Clean It Up Vanfest, whether for locations, format or events when there.
The original idea is that we have an annual get-together for our members, a chance to meet-up in real life instead of just online. Having looked at several suitable venues, and talked to other interested parties, we are delighted to announce that the first CleanItUp VanFest is on Saturday 15th September 2012, at Wicksteed Park, near Kettering.
The location is central and will enable our members to come from a wide area. This will be a fun day out for all Clean It Up members, whether you're involved in carpet cleaning, hard floor restoration, window cleaning, domestic or commercial cleaning. The day and location mean that it's also an ideal place to bring family and friends who are also very welcome.
The NCCA are holding their annual Carpet Cleaners Carnival at Wicksteed Park that day and have kindly invited us to share the venue with them. We're holding the VanFest in the main car park alongside the Pavillion and hope that members will take advantage of both events. In the pavilion will be the café, bar, and toilets, with stands from a number of suppliers. We'll have a stand just inside the door of the Pavilion, where you can come and meet the people behind Clean It Up.
