Hi Guys. Been meaning to get a good logo designed, any ideas or recommendations? Don`t mind paying for the right design.

I would try Fiverr first off. If you really want something fancy pants and see different ideas before you plump for one try this lot. http://99designs.co.uk/

Funny enough this has been on my to do list as well.

The above looks good like the idea of having lots to choose from, how much money do you think you need to offer?

Or I was thinking of finding a student graphic designer to exploit, I mean do it for me on the cheap ;D

A good tip is to create a swipe file of things you have seen that you like, colour schemes, fonts, graphics. It helps them get an idea what you want from the get go.

I took a picture of a pub sign design I like, a Riverford delivery van and the BT man logo along with a colour swatch.

Here's some clever ones, though clever doesn't always mean the phone rings.

I would go to www.prodata.co.uk and speak to Andy he is a great guy and will do you something really good for about £30 he does loads of over stuff like websites and facebook  :) he is making me a logo for ECO cleaning chemicals at the moment and has designed me a cover for my Facebook page.

If you want to spend a bit more money and open it up to the world to design your logo try www.logoguru.com  I thought they were very good

Still cant find anything that really floats my boat. Once you decide on something, you`v got to run with it for a long time. I think patience will be a virtue once again.

Robert, what's you main motivation for a new logo, do you think you can quantify whether it will mean extra business?

Good morning Wynne. I`m chasing more commercials and I think a good logo on a letterhead would help lift my game. Just another piece of the big jigsaw.
