Or I was thinking of finding a student graphic designer to exploit, I mean do it for me on the cheap

A good tip is to create a swipe file of things you have seen that you like, colour schemes, fonts, graphics. It helps them get an idea what you want from the get go.

I took a picture of a pub sign design I like, a Riverford delivery van and the BT man logo along with a colour swatch.

Here's some clever ones, though clever doesn't always mean the phone rings.

I would go to www.prodata.co.uk and speak to Andy he is a great guy and will do you something really good for about £30 he does loads of over stuff like websites and facebook  he is making me a logo for ECO cleaning chemicals at the moment and has designed me a cover for my Facebook page.

Still cant find anything that really floats my boat. Once you decide on something, you`v got to run with it for a long time. I think patience will be a virtue once again.
