Didn't know billy could read unless he's just looking at the pitures Shaun
Simon, Dave doesnt toss a bucket of water over the rug, he very carfully pours the bucket over Jim your right about lifes experience and the value of it, but as one of the guys stated above cleaning a wool rug aint hard when you know what your doing its the identification thats the hardest. I can identify any rug in about 60 seconds. I just phone up Dave Lehona up and say whats this then Dave was telling me once that he met a guy once in the States that could tell the country of origin and region of a rug by tasting it , now that would be something to see
Everyday this forum slips further from God.
Jim,rugs were my `achiles heel`,especially Indian and ChineseHearth rugs.I`ve always, even in my early years of the SeventiesTurned silk rugs down.My most enjoyable time regarding rug cleaning was my well,Nowadays NCCA training course days spent at Cecil AiginsAnd Franklins learning and watching how rugs should be cleaned. With Sheepskin we used to strip the backings off, clean and thenRe sew new backings on in place. Those were the days. That’s how I became a millionaire.
