Her "A vein burst and another 5 minutes she would have died from blood loss"

This lot went from one wc down the hallway to another bathroom.
Now I've dealt with blood enough times before but I felt sick watching pure red stuff going up the hand tool.
I removed the wc carpet and underlay for destroying...that was just too much and too deep.
And yes before anyone says anything I did the full PPE stuff and everythings been sanitised.

I got a call for this kind of problem last week but it was congealed so I told them to dump it for health reasons.

Yes there was a fair amount of rinsing but hopefully there shouldn't be any wickback as I did both sides of the carpets, hence why I threw out the worst one as in the photo.
By the time I'd finshed I couldn't see any red/pink going up the handtool, so hopefully that will have sorted it.

Bloods a funny type of stain. Sometimes it wicks back and sometimes it doesn't, doesn't matter how bad the stain was to start with!

I find that turbo drying the area and going over it with a towel (to remove as much mositure as possible) or a rotery, usually stops any wick back issues.

When I first read thje original thread, I wondered how a vein could 'burst'.

I just relooked at the pictures, and noticed where it happened.

Now I've got a huge craving for some fibre..

This is quite common in the elderly, the skin thins veins become larger and its easy to open one up.

Done quite a few of these plus a few murders (  not personally you understand) and attempted murders where there has been masses of blood and worse 

One of the worst that I visited (but refused) was a guy who was stabbed in the thigh, he obviously did not realise that it could and did kill him as he walked all around the property pumping blood out every where. His long time partner stabbed him after one too many beatings, he was a drug baron, bullying gangster who brought misery to many peoples lifes he even supplied drugs to some well know (at the time) premier league footballers.

I think quite a few people raised a glass to her after the event, she of course had to move away to who knows where for her own safety, she was charged with manslaughter and got a suspended prison sentence.

What happened to the carpets?

Glad to see where your priorities lay 

The carpets in all circumstances are removed, in police incidents samples are taken for evidence.

In incidents like these ,drugs, contaminations from AIDS or other pathogens could be involved so if they want it cleaned,some one else can do it.

Where some poor old dear haemorrhage's thats a bit different in as much as the customer wants is cleaned or insurance are involved.
