End of tenancy
« on: June 25, 2012, 06:30:05 pm »
Have thought about approaching estate agents about end of tenancy cleans and new move in cleans on rented properties when I start-up.

Just wondered if anyone provides this service and how they approach the agent and also how to price it.

Any help appreciated.

If you have empty slots in your days then good idea.

As for pricing prob quote individually but look at double normal amount.

We do loads of them.Go in to the agents and offer the service. As they tend to be one offs price accordingly. We are very rural so we charge travelling time as well

When I stated in April 09 I sent a letter to all local estate agents offering this and window/gutter cleaning to smarten properties up in order to help get a sale / let. Didn't get one reply. Followed it up with phone calls. No interest at all.

At the same time I was knocking doors. By 3 months in I had a round of 200-ish plus. Wore out a pair of boots and my knuckles were bleeding from all the knocking but haven't knocked a door since.

Burn some boot leather is my advice.
