Ritchy - if you just phone up ionics they will tell you exactly what you need. My water bill is currently 99 quid per month (thames) will be interested to see what it goes down to.
Actually, I can tell you the robak has resin and the ro has membranes. Like I said, water goes through ro as normal and instead of going straight into the tank it goes through the robak. It then goes back through the ro again. Dolt know hoe many times it goes through this cycle before it goes into tank. It'd worth giving ionics a call to find out more info.
I would be interested to know how you got it so low Steve. I've just recently changed my ro, water softener and carbon filters. Just to clarify Steve, is the 1 - 3 ppm before you Di the water? The 9ppm I refer to is before di

So does anyone know what exactly is in a RO-bak filter?
sounds really good . can you buy that (robak)and put on any system?
