Do you think you can leave leaflets on car windscreens in supermarket car parks and retail shopping parks or would we get in trouble for this by the local council,
as anyone done this

Thanks

how do you know where each car is from?
Better to choose an area close to home and target that by door knocking. At least that way you have a better chance of finding a few customers in the same area.
Focus on the area's/estates you already do. Knock a couple of neighbour's doors each side of your current customer and across the road.

I would of thought the main problem with doing this is that you cant choose the area or type of property you want to target.

Also you will probably get a call from the council/supermarket after stroppy car owners have chucked your leaflets on the ground!

Are you saying he'd be off his trolley because he couldn't check out his potential customers' homes till he'd seen them.

In theory it's a good idea, as people generally use their local supermarket, so your target 'territory' would be reasonably compact I would think.

The potential problem would be as has been said that if they are discarded then you may be liable for littering.

I think this has all been stopped now so you'll do half the car park and than the management will be out and have you remove the lot

If this isn't the case then yeah go for it.

The customers won't be any further that 10 mile out either side and in my opinion people who aren't willing to travel 10 mile away from base aren't taking their business seriously.

Personally i think it is a bad idea as pointed out before it is better to target the areas , estates , or streets were you really want to work ,

Gaining work in those areas will give you the work you really want and will hold onto giving you a good solid and well earning round . Mike
