hi have things changed or do you still need to cut a hole in a ibc tank or a baffled tank to fit the transfer pump in or are pumps smaller now and do baffles get in the way of the pump seems a shame to buy a tank and cut it apart thanks

dave if you have a small lidded tank then it will need to be cut, if large hole then a wickes transfer pump drops straight in, I use this and have not cut my tank, many ibc have the smaller whole, if so just cut a slice into it and seal it after.

cheers ian yes done that with an ibc a few years back and didnt mind when there about 50pound but was thinking of maybe buying a new 1000ltr tank for indoors and didnt want to start cutting away at that costing about 300pound

Did not mean to cause offense mate just never known anybody have the need to cut tank for any reason thats all . Mike

You can still get ibc tanks for about forty quid - why pay £200?

I use a Lidl suction pump that sits outside my tank these days.

hay mike no worries .yes i would only pay about 50pound for an ibc of ebay and ive still got my transfer pump from a few years back
