removing lead adhesive

got a customer whos lead is coming away from the glass so now wants to have it taken off the lead will come off easy but whats the best way to remove the adhesive thats left on the glass . is there a good product for this or will it be best done with a scraper ? thanks .

Cellulose thinners will get it off.
I can remember when waking up stiff in the morning was a good thing.

personally as ive posted before i would not get involved in any type of glue tape bbq grease etc you are leaving your self wide open for major bills  ie new glass if you damage or are accused of damaging i just addvise let them have the hassel its not worth it for a few quid imo having said this ive had no complaints from my custys and never lost the ones who have asked

If you're talking about a double glazed unit then I certainly wouldn't take off the outside lead, it will leave the glue side of the inside lead on view, horrible.
