« on: May 16, 2012, 10:38:48 pm »
Small tank in back, pole on roof- Dont use pole that much and think it would be pretty functional as a van/car?

Better off with a double cab pickup Truck bigger payload and far more practical for business and personal use.

Want to keep a family motor and not have a dedicated van?

Getta trailer - and the car you fancy (within reason) you know it makes sense.
It's a game of three halves!

Yers I have one and wish I didn't. Nothing but problems, expensive problems too. Next bit of kit I am buying for it is 2 litres of petrol and a box of matches.

funny you should say that, i knew a guy who used a puff of lighter fluid behind the dashboard to create an "electrical fire" for insurance payout

The only one to get is the TD4 the rest are too problematic.

My missus has the td4 to pull her food trailer. Been a good solid motor so far

Could I suggest using the cigarette lighter (that's if it works) saves buying a box of matches.

I bought her a 54 plate brand new, when it was new. It was a 2.0 litre petrol and after 30,000 miles it needed a new head gasket. We sold it after that. This diesel one is a lot better

td4 diesel. 110k still pulls like a train. Mind you I think there are less risky options. Also everyone raves about ford connects but mine was the worst van I ever had. Spent over a grand on engine niggles and never found them. (try 120 quid for air sensor) Its all about the lump imo. 2litre diesel for me from now on.
