I once had a knock on the door at at a similar time on a Sunday morning requesting the same. Funny thing was that my next door neighbour, who also had a set of ladders, got the same but he told the guy to knock my door!  ;D

I had a call from a customer at 03:00 ! I didn't pick it up needless to say. He was having treatment for cancer and didn't know what he was doing. I think he thought it was 15:00 when I spoke to him the next day  :)

I don't sleep with my phone but I am usually up at 6. I wouldn't think twice about texing at 6am as I would assume that people wouldn't slep with their phones.

I too had one of them about a month ago, so I rang them back on sunday at 4am to say that we had removed them from the database and hope they have a nice weekend (well I wanted to do that) :-\

I have had texts a couple of times at 6.30 am from a customer.
I am usually awake by then and live on my own so it's not too bad.  I do think it's inconsiderate though.

When I was driving the taxi a mate of mine used to make loads of phone calls to people at 4am from the phone boxes by the station. Some debt collector used to pay him to do it.
