tough one .typical commercial.. i think they will pay . if you suspend then you prob wont be doing it again . they will get another windy who will be prepared to wait. is it a lot of money and does it take long? i find talking direct to the accounts dept by phone is quite beneficial

You could go in and order a family bucket, and tell them you will pay for it in four month's time.

Being diplomatic is being able to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip.

Lol ;D the wife said to do this but KFC is scum!!

I have asked for the number for accounts and head office
Time and time again and don't got it.
It's £45 a month so not a massive amount at all
But add all 4 up and it's almost half me months rent !

Waste of time. Drop and chase for your money.

But have a little fun - go one last time and soap up their windows - tell them you'll finish the job when you've been paid.  ;D
It's a game of three halves!

walk past at a early hour and spray windows with milk through a kids squirty gun, then don't turn up as normal, when they phone to get them cleaned explain you will not continue until all invoices are paid ;) if that doesn't work dump it and move on

id stop cleaning until payment.ive noticed more and more customers(domestic)who pay via online banking dragging their heels with payments but i dont clean more than twice without payment these days.

commercial jobs usually pay me within 28 days via cheque.i never have any problems with them.

i just wouldnt want to  have a 4 month £180 owing from one job.id stop until payment then get rid.
price higher/work harder!

Give them a formal letter asking for full amount due in 7 days or further action will be taken.Out line further cost will be added if amount is not paid.

Is it a franchise unit or company owned? Just lets you know who to chase... Who gave you the job?

As far as I no its company owned mate and I got the job from
The Internet,

Tbh I have problems with most of my commercial accounts paying!
Seems to be the bigger the company the harder it is to get paid.
The way I see it they will see my invoices of relatively small amount
And not treat them as priority.
Been talking to the missis about these com jobs and by the time
You clean them then spend twice as long chasing payment!
So there not really worth doing if you look at it like that.

Its worth finding out as a franchise will be much easier to chase, getting paid on time seems to be a downside of commercial work.... Think I would rather have an extra 4 houses and dump this one....

That said if it is a franchise you could try to speak to the owner and you may well be able to sort out a deal, got to be worth a try....

Colin follow your business head not your heart, suspend and send one final letter  explaining next step small claims
and ask: do you need this business causing this stress to you

99% of KFCs are independently owned franchises. And if the one in Pinner is anything to go by its "As advertised on UK Border Patrol" all the staff are working on highly dubious student visas. So its dodgy all round. If they don't pay tip off immigration.

You need to become a pain in ass by ringing accounts constantly until u get paid if they say its getting sorted u need to pin them to a date and keep hassling personally I would stop cleaning.

Trying to find the owner if he owes you money? More chance of finding Lord Lucan

If its a franchise they have to publicly display who owns it, its normally a limited company but you can find anyone with a bit of research

Our policy on commercial is payment at time of service on presentation of invoice.  If they won't agree to that, we don't bother - they're only going to be trouble so why lumber yourself with them?
