first time chagning pre filters

so... its the first time im gonna change my 3 prefilters on my 650 gpd ro today ( its a little overdue)
and before i start making a mess i jusr wanted to know if you lot have any tips for me?

lol you lost the spanner that came with them as well didn;t you !! i changed mine for the first time only yesterday, you wont crack them just take it easy hold them steady between your legs, when you take them off you will see you cant really get it wrong they just go in, what i have noticed is straight away my tds coming out is now 2 and it was around 10 and it seems that they are running faster

hmmm i spose you could run warm water over them or something but you have to get them off somehow ?

I sometimes hold one end tight between my feet and tap some glancing blows on the lid with a hammer.  I fold some scrim or similar to cushion the impact.
Tip:  Make sure the rubber ring doesn't drop off the bottom of the filter when you put it into the housing.
