Cheers for the advice,I got 3 in the end ,not the best as a one full house and 2 fronts, but work is work ,,I had some one text earlier was due first clean but now has no money, and 2 others who I cleaned just fronts have now said there husband is now doing it,I'm learning window cleaning carries some stress with it lol.:.............. But when I have a handful of houses and I'm out cleaning I love it.
Everyone was there once, well the guys who bought a round were not quite the same, but just keep plugging on!
Personally you need 1 year to build a decent turnover then year 2 is all about topping up and weeding out the crap, like sorting out the under priced jobs, the buggers that you have to chase and chase and chase for payment etc etc.
I remember my first few months were like how the hell am i gonna make a living, i think my first day i earnt £63 for a near 10 hour day (Trad) and i was starting to panic thinking why had i jacked my £30k a year salary in!
But the more you're out and about the more you get noticed and you get people just coming to you and ask to do their windows when youre on a job.
Dont expect to build a good round over night it takes time just be patient it will come eventually.
You need to build numbers first even if they are not the best jobs or biggest houses, you just need jobs to keep you ticking over money is money at the end of the day. But try not to fall into the underprice gang, youll regret it everytime you go to do that job, everytime you pull up outside that house youll be huffing and puffing all the way round and end up not going back.
Keep going and good luck
