Alex:

Your website needs complete redoing, for more constructive advice you can contact me direct
I can introduce you with some people who can help you with your website.

I know you may have put a lots of effort and thats not what you would like to hear, but thats true.

I have seen lots of "i have done my web what you think" website is crap and everyone "nice", "like it" "well done"

but come on guys, thats not true !

I have once put my web sample and no one liked it - so I am redoing it, all comments taken
(even tho my web site was not one of the simplest one)

Agree with Viktor,
Work on it, lose pic of yourself, your selling a service not a 'Date with me' you've made it look like a dating website with that photo, sorry mucker, honesty is always best.
Other than that the simplicity lookks good.
I do think Punters would as I did try and click on links on left ( but they are not links)???
maybe more descriptive???

have to agree with the guys above.

well done on getting a website as they're a lot of work, and any website is better than no website.

you do need to give more information though.  people want detail.

read this...

or this website...

they explain what you need...

Thanks for the feedback. Most of you understood my brief, and offered more than "its rubbish get rid of it"

As I said the picture on the front is not there to stay, its just a demo pic I used for dimensions so I could see what it would be like. I need to take a photo for that space yet.

As for who its aimed at. I wanted a website not so I could draw potential customers to it in an advertising style campaign where people are sold on the website rather than anything else. I wanted it to help with online advertising on Google Yell, etc I figure I can get higher up the Google rating with a website than without.

My logic is anyone who has searched Google or anywhere else for a window cleaner has a pretty good idea what they want and need.

I look at lots of sites that look great and sound great but when it comes to looking for a contact number its tiny or hidden somewhere on a page and it turns into a where's wally exercise.

The only constructive advice I have heard so far is to include some information about myself.
I was originally going to do that. But I thought are people that bothered about what I can do as long as I clean windows.
But on second thoughts it may be wise to include for that few who would appreciate it.

I will make the text on the right hand side into a link that opens a new box on the same page, that seems a good idea
It not im sure someone of you lot will enjoy reading it

I take it you meant "mens" whereas you wrote "mend". What a witty retort!

I will implement your advice...oh wait
