You are OK with your prices. You don't get them all. If you were, thats when to start wondering.

It's okay mate I was told yesterday that I was too expensive by an old lady because I wouldn't match her long since departed window cleaner's price of £3 for a 2nd story flat with 6 windows in it.

I only charge the other customers there £7, wfp, and that obviously includes the frames, sills, etc.

Just stick to your prices; if everyone tells you you're too expensive just worry about it then ::)
Come and talk dirty to us!!!

should have started at 25 and dropped to 20. This sounds like the type who just wants a bargain :)

If you only charged £1 you would be too expensive for somebody out there. When I used to do a bit of gardening I got a call from somebody who had a really badly overgrown garden that he wanted clearing. It was too big a job for me so I turned it down, there would have been skiploads of stuff and trees to cut down etc. But I was able to give him a couple of phone nos.

Just out of interest he asked me what the price was likely to be, I said its hard to say but well into four figures. He genuinely nearly had a seizure. He was thinking more like £50-60

If everyone accepts your price then you are too cheap!! I have loads of houses like the one you described, all priced at £25- £30.
