Hi guys I am sure you all get these nuisance calls every day,    in fact we get about 10 a day, and its becoming too much for us, just wondering if you know a way to stop these calling ?
Or is there APP for mobile which can stop them coming?

We have a phone from which you can use "call barring"

If they do get through, I blow a high pitched dog whistle down the line... They soon hang up

Can't you just add them to your mobile's reject list (that's what Samsung call it)

try TPS registration all you need to do is activate it

Been registered with tps for over 2 years now,and it still does not stop the less scrupulous merchant bankers

On android you can get a app called Mr Number "free" and can block numbers including any number beginning with "ie. any dialling code"

Also in android you can save the number to contacts hit options in that contact and select send all calls to voicemail.

Not sure about iPhone.

Hi

We get loads everyday and usually just let it ring but it's annoying.

So now i answer and immediately disconnect in the same motion,  saves time and listening to the phone ringing all the time.

I have noticed recently they are now starting to use 0115, 0116 numbers instead 0800,0844 but the same pickup, switch off in less than a second.
